A BILL to amend article fifteen, chapter seventeen-c of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section fifty, relating to requiring splashguards on vehicles having a weight capacity of five thousand pounds or more.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article fifteen, chapter seventeen-c of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section fifty, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 15. EQUIPMENT.

§17C-15-50. Splashguards.

All vehicles having a weight capacity of five thousand pounds or more shall be equipped with rear mudguards or fenders of such size as to substantially prevent the throwing of dirt, water, rocks or other substances by the rear wheels.



NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require that vehicles having a weight capacity of five thousand pounds or more shall be equipped with rear mudguards or fenders of such size as to substantially prevent the throwing of dirt, water, rocks or other substances by the rear wheels.
